Each single strand of yarn and lace is sealed in its end to prevent the tassel from unraveling and to guarantee a long-lasting item. Making these sealings is very time consuming, but it's absolutely necessary. We have many belly dancers among our customers who've been wearing their tassels for years - this wouldn't be possible with unsealed yarn ends!

We don't accept any returns for this item, because it is hand-made to order especially for you as hip & hair tassel clips are made as per your specification concerning decoration. Really pretty, happy I got it.
I absolutely love my tassels! I wear them with my renaissance danse macabre costume and they are perfect!! The only issue I had was the clips slipped off my costume while dancing, so I have to be careful where I place my tassels, but other then that I love them! They are so beautiful and flow wonderfully! Update: Melanie at MagicTribalHair gave me a great suggestion on securing the clips, and I'm definitely going to be incorporating it into my costuming to protect my beautiful clips! Can't wait to get another set!! "But there is a simple trick, just sew a loop with a thicker kind of thread onto the inside of your skirt or dance pants you wear the tassel clips with and push the clip through with its back-part without decoration (that's also the reason why you must add this loop on the inside)."
